Calvary MSC releases "Holy Ground"
Calvary MSC has now released Holy Ground, written with Stefan Green and sung by Jesse Garcia. Centered on the nativity, the song reminds us that God still chooses the low places: the manger, the dust, the silence, the waiting. Holy Ground calls us back to the simplicity of God’s presence, where ordinary moments are met by glory. The lyrics call us to walk by faith and not by sight, recognizing He is with us in places the world overlooks.
Holy Ground starts by drawing us into the wonder of Christ’s birth: “Oh how could this be holy ground / Where straw and stone became a crown.” The chorus lifts our gaze to the blessing of His nearness: “This is holy ground / Heaven here bows down.” And in the bridge, the song brings that truth into our everyday lives: “The lowest place, You make it shine / This mortal life becomes divine.” Holy Ground invites us to slow down, look again, and realize we’re not alone.
